The Garden & Gun Club is a testament of the magazine’s commitment to share their Southern-focused lifestyle through the lens of a new social establishment.  Designed in collaboration with Garden & Gun, the restaurant features a food and drink program by the James Beard Award-Winning Team of Mike Lata and Adam Nemirow of Charleston, SC.

Context plays a key role in Workstead’s approach, and the Garden & Gun Club, located at The Battery adjacent to the new Atlanta Braves’ Stadium, is no exception.  Workstead transformed the established Garden & Gun magazine’s aesthetic into an environment that respected the brand, the location, and the space.  Elements of the 1,700 square foot Restaurant include a Charleston Green facade, an intimate Club Bar room, an Oyster Bar, and Dining Room upholstered in monumental fabric panels.  

Workstead also created a series of custom Lodge Chandeliers and Sconces to illuminate the upholstered wall panels and ceilings of the Dining Room.  Composed of oak and brass, they create a dynamic composition that evokes a modern antler form.
